Jenney) and a list of provisions purchased by H.A. Crandall in June 1865. The Montpelier purveyors of supplies were Mark French (oysters), N.P. Brooks (hardware), Tho.W.McKee (lemons), C.W. Storrs (raisins, salervatus), J.R. Langdon (corn meal), Smith & Standish (butter, eggs), Bailey & Brother (butter), Arms (?) & Co. (eggs), W.F. McLure (eggs), John Cook (potatoes), Ballon Loveland & Co. (stationery), Peter Bador (iron? staples), Alexander Campbell (milk), J.C. & S. Brown (fish), R.H. Whitier (meat, butter, eggs), C.H. Cross & Son (bread and crackers), and D. Dewey & Co. (oil, eggs, blacking, wicks, chimneys, cake ?turners?, ice cream freezer). |
