This leather bound book has hand written entries by Jasper Ayers begining in 1884 and ending in 1887. The entries seem to be entered somewhat irregularly. The entries do not follow the dates printed on each page. Jasper seems to have been doing some traveling (perhaps to the homes of his childred) based on several of the later entries. Near the end, the diary entries become intermittent and end halfway through the book. There are some pages with financial information and other pages with lists of people and addresses. There are several inserts with bits of information or names on each. |
