Included in this packet is a statement of contingent cash accounts for December 1864 together with thirty purchase vouchers. The Montpelier purveyors of supplies were Bailey & Brother, Barton & Howard, L.B. Huntington, J.P. Dewey, Mark French, D.L. Fuller, Geo. Johnson, D.M. Culver, Chas. L. Wilson, James R. Langdon, J.C. & S (?) Brown, Samuel Daniels, Denison Dewey, R. Whittier, C. & C. Cross & Son, and Alex. Campbell. The purchases included butter, apples, eggs, onioins, cabbage, turnips, potatoes, cranberries, flour, oysters, fish, oil, lamp wicks, solder, resin & soldering iron, lamps, lamp chimneys, faucet, tubs, matches, pepper boxes, Bristol Brick, ash pails, chicken, pork, mutton, lamb, beef, milk and Cross bread and crackers. |
