This is a coupon from the Moody & Luce, Men's and Women's Complete Outfitter's store in Waterbury, Vermont (opposite the Post Office). It measures to be about 3.25" x 7". On the front of the coupon it has a picture of General George Dewey in a circle in the center of the coupon. Above his pictures it is printed in bold black letters, PATRIOTS' BANK. There is a number 10 in both the upper left and right hand corner. At the bottom of the coupon it is printed "State of War". On the left end of the coupon sideways is a photo of "Battleship Olympia". On the other end it is a photo of George Dewey's birthplace in Montpelier, Vermont. On the back on the left side is a picture of the capital in the background with a man in a suit tipping his hat. On the rest of the back of the coupon is printing telling about what is sold and where the store is in Waterbury, Vermont. |
