Summary |
This is a four-volume set of hard cover books bound in shaded green, faux leather on cloth. Title, author's last name and volume number are on the spine and the seal of the state of Vermont is on the cover, all embossed in gold. Volume IV includes a 23-page index and a bill of sale with thanks tucked in the back. All four volumes carry this printed inscription on a frontpiece: "This copy of VERMONT The Green Mountain State is registered in the name of GEORGE S. BIDWELL, M.D. 1938". Lestina, Dr. Bidwell's daughter, signed all four volumes in both the front and back. |
