Description |
This is an original black and white photo of the WHS Basketball Team that measures to be about 8" x 10". At the bottom of the photo is written the dates 1944-1945. The first row there are five players kneeling. The middle player is holding a basketball that has the dates "44-45" written on it. In the second row is Coach Stone on the left and Manager Bernard Keefe on the other end There are four players between them. The coach is wearing a suit and tie. Bernard Keefe is wearing dark pants and a basketball jacket. All the players are wearing basketball jerseys, shorts and sneakers. On the chest of the jerseys they have their number and the name Waterbury on it. On the back are the names of the people in the photo. There is also a stamp "L.W. Burnham, Waterbury, Vt". Also written in black is "WHS Names of the basketball boy". |
