Description |
This is an original black and white photo measuring to be about 8" x 10" of the Waterbury High School Girls Basketball Team of 1947-1948. There are two team members sitting on the floor. There are six team members in the first row sitting. The two middle girls are holding the basketball with the dates "1947-48" on it in white. The third row consists of Coach Theresa Royer and four players. Ms. Royer is dressed in a white blouse with a jumper type dress, along with a kerchief type tie. The girl beside her and the girl on the end in the same row were wearing basketball jackets. All the other girls were wearing basketball uniform shorts and tops. The word Waterbury was in black on the top. At the bottom of the picture the dates "1947-1948" are written. |
