This is an original sepia postcard of the 1917-1918 WHS Boys Basketball Team measuring to be about 3.25" x 5.25". The first row is sitting, the second row is standing. There are 9 players and two men in the photo. The middle person in that row is holding a basketball that has the number "17-18" in white on the basketball he is holding. Each player has a sleeveless jersey on with the letters WHS on the front along with shorts. Some have long socks on and others none. There are two men in the back row that are wearing suits. The man on each end of the second row are wearing a long sleeved black jersey on. On the back of the postcard in the upper left area it is printed "Post Card" To the right of that is a square with the words inside it "Place Stamp Here" Below this on the left has the words "Correspondence Here" and on the right "Name and Address Here". |
