Description |
This is an original black and white photo of the graduating class of 1938 from Waterbury High School. There are 26 female graduates and 15 male graduates. All the graduates are wearing a cap and gown. The Class Marshall is sitting in the first row holding a baton. He is wearing a suit. The frame is made of wood and is a silver color with a design all around the frame. On the back of the frame is a cardboard with tack nails holding it in place. There is a wire from side to side so the frame can be hung up. The frame measures to be about 10" x 14.25" and the photo measures to be about 9" x 13".On the cardboard backing there is an address label "David Harvey, 37 Ellinwood Avenue, Waterbury, Vermont 05676". There is a piece of paper with this written on it "Lydia M. Harvey, 96 Flanders Drive, St. Johnsbury, Vt 05819, 802-748-8931 - donate picture class of 1938". There is an envelope with an address label in the upper left hand corner "Catherine A. Church, 3103 Valley La, Falls Church, VA 22044". The address on this envelope is "David Harvey, 37 Ellinwood Avenue, Waterbury, Vermont 05676". Inside the envelope is a photo of people from the 1938 who attended a reunion in 1988. It is a color photo that measures to be about 3.5 X 5". There is also a typed up page with a list of the names of the people in the photo and other information. Also attached to the back of the cardboard is a smaller envelope with a newspaper clipping inside. It is a black and white article with two photos of the people that had recently attended the 50th reunion of their 1938 class. The names of the people attending are in the article. |
