Copy 1 - This is a sepia framed photo of the 1916-1917 basketball team of the Waterbury High School. The frame is a gold color with clover like designs all around it. The frame measures to be about 9.75" x 10.5". The photo measures to be about 7.5" x 9.5". In the photo there are 8 basketball players and a coach. Three of the players are sitting in the front row, the rest of the team and coach are standing. The middle player sitting down is holding a basketball that has "W.H.S. 16-17" in white on it. Seven of the players are dressed in sleeveless jerseys, short, long socks and sneakers. One of the players in the back row has a long sleeve black pullover on. The coach is dressed in a suit. In the lower right hand corner of the frame is written in ink "F.H. Hoglung, Waterbury, Vt." On the back of the frame is brown tattered paper with the names of the coach and players written on it.
