Copy 1 - This is an original sepia photo of the graduating class of 1917. The photo is in a cardboard frame that has been place in a frame under glass. There is a The cardboard frame is a brownish. The frame is a brown wood with darker color in it. The photo measures to be about 6.75" x 8.75". The cardboard frame measures to be about 12" x 12.5" and the frame itself measures to be about 13" x 13.5". Towards the bottom of the cardboard frame there is an imprint "Hoglund, Waterbury, Vt". On the back of the frame there is a rather tattered brown paper attached. There are six newspaper clippings taped to the brown paper. They are titled: Reimherr Principal Here for 11 Years", "N.J. Paper Reviews Don Grout's Career", article about the left of Ethel Rogers, Miss Lean Wallace 44 Years a Teacher, Dies At Waterbury, Students in Tribute to Miss Wallace and finally the obituary for Mrs. Harold Terrice Harvey obituary". On the bottom of the backing are the names of the graduates written in ink. There is a Chase" Art Store Picture Framing sticker on the back. The names of the students are listed on the back. There is a sticker in the middle of the that says "Chase's Art Store Picture Framing, Waterbury, Vt. |
