Description |
This is an original sepia photo of the 1935 graduating class of Waterbury High School, Waterbury, Vermont. The photo measures to be about 9" x 13". The photo is in a silver colored frame that is a great deal of wear on it. The frae measures to be about 10.5" x 14.5". The first row consists of two graduates and the Class Marshall who is in the middle sitting on the floor. The next row of graduates are all sitting The next two rolls of graduates are standing. In the middle of the third row (standing) is Muriel Varnum. She is wearing a light colored top with three buttons down the front and a matching belt with a black belt buckle. All the graduates are wearing cap and gowns. There are 12 female graduates and 11 male graduates. In the upper right hand corner of the glass is a white sticker that has written on it in ink "Class of 1935 (over)". On the back of the frame is a brown colored paper that is attached all around the frame. There is a tear in the upper middle and some other tears on both ends. "1935"has been written on the back. The names of the graduate students has also been written on the bottom half. The name "Mrs C B Adams" is written in the bottom left hand corner. |
