Description |
This is a plaque recognizing the many years of devoted service, friendship and kindness to every student of Waterbury Waterbury High. The plaque is made of wood. There is a pieces of gold metal made to look like an open book placed on the wood. On the left side engraved is "Presented to Dascomb P. Rowe, Principal 1926-1959". On the right side is engraved "For recognition of his unfailing interest in education, his many years of faithful and devoted service, and above all his true friendship, kindness and guidance to each and every student of Waterbury High School". On the back there is a gold colored chain so it can be hung. There is an sticker of who made the plaque attached on the middle bottom on the back of the frame - goldish color - "L.A. Balfour Company". The plaque measures to be 11" x 15". The gold book on the front of the plaque measures to be about 8" x 11". |
