This butter box was made in either Colbyville or Mill Village, Waterbury VT in the early 1900s. It is made of light wood (pine?), dovetailed on each edge. It's of trapezoidal shape and made for 5 lbs. of butter. There is some damage to the bottom piece and some small nicks on the sides. |
