This is a gold colored coin. It is measured to be about 1.25". On one side there are sketches of historic places in the Waterbury, Vt area...Congregational Church, Waterbury High School, Waterbury Inn, Mt. Mansfield Trolley Car and the 1927 Waterbury, Vermont flood. In the middle is "Waterbury, Vermont Bicentennial". The second side states "Souvenir money - Redeemable for 50 cents in trade by the Waterbury, Vermont Bicentennial Committee on or before July 3, 1963. Not to be used in lieu lawful money of the United States." |
