This is a three part shaving kit used by Silas Loomis of Waterbury, VT. The Leather Strop and wooden box with a shaving cream brush were hand-made by Silas Loomis. In her donation letter, Zora Norcross states that Silas Loomis "believed that anything which could be made - should be, if not purchased." There is also a ceramic container with a dried and cracked disc of soap included in this set. |
